2017 TT LAKESIDE HISTORIC BIKE MEETING CANCELLED

The TT Lakeside meeting on the 11th and 12th of March at Lakeside Park has been cancelled two weeks out from it’s running date. We regret to inform competitors and spectators that due to a lack of entrants at this time, that the TT Lakeside will not be run.  Queensland Raceways understands that due to multiple local and interstate events for competitors and classic bike enthusiasts that not everyone had time in their schedule to make this TT Lakeside meeting in March.

The TT Lakeside was due to be run for the first time in 2017, this is also the first time that Queensland Raceways would host a classic bike race in the early part of the year.

The Lord of the Lake, a staple in the Lakeside Park calendar taking place later in the year has received substantial growth and support over the years and is now the sole historic bike race of 2017. Lord of the Lake in 2017 is expected to be one of our biggest events yet!

Entrants for the TT Lakeside have the option to have their entry fees refunded or transferred to the Lord of the Lake in September, please contact Queensland Raceways to discuss your options.
