Shannon's Nationals at QR this Weekend 
A competitive field representing the world’s most exotic automotive brands heads to Queensland Raceway this weekend for Round 5 of the CAMS Australian GT Trophy Series presented by Pirelli.

Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi and a fleet of six entries from MARC Cars Australia will be on track as Australian GT makes its first appearance at Queensland Raceway since 2013.

Fresh from a strong performance at Sydney Motorsport Park, and with 210 points up for grabs this weekend, Rob Smith will be looking for a hefty haul of points as he seeks to chase down points leader Greg Taylor and set up a nail-biting Series finale at the final round of the season at Phillip Island in September (9-11). more...
 
Triple 8 Sweep Queensland Raceway Supercars
Triple Eight racing have swept the round at Queensland Raceway last Weekend.  The Virgin V8 Supercars roared back to Queensland Raceway and on Saturday Triple 8 trio of Shane Van Gisbergen, Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup locked out the podium.

On  Sunday Triple 8 once again showed their dominance with Craig Lowndes taking out the win with Jamie Whincup second and Chaz Mostert in third and the first Ford home.
 All Aussie Fathers Day VIP's Booked Out
With VIP Cruises already booked out, the All Aussie Fathers Day will be one not to miss.

Thousands of Aussie will take their Dad to Lakeside Park on Fathers Day this September 4th to watch and cruise in the Track witnessing some of the best cars made in Australia.

The All Aussie is the biggest Theme day at Lakeside for the year.  If you own an Australian built car, you can cruise the track for $10 each session.    

Mark it down in your diary, as this is one day you don't want to miss out on
New Website for QR 
A brand new website for Queensland Raceway has hit the Internet and fans and customers of Queensland Raceways should be excited.

The new website is events based and provides users with much more information around events and easy links to similar events.  

The new format has a greater image base and gives all the functionality of the older site, including webcam, Lie streaming, Live Timing and access to enter events directly from the event you are looking at. take a moment to have a look!
Rally Cross get a Boost 
Our Next Rallycross meeting is in for a treat with 2012 Australian Rally Champion Justin Dowell joining in in his Hyundai i20.  

Its great new for Queensland Rallycross and should be a great day of tarmac and dirt action.

Lakeside Street Sprints  - Booked Out This Saturday
The popular Lakeside Street Sprints are on this Saturday but if have not booked in already unfortunately its full.  We recommend getting in early and booking into the next one.
 
sprints are a great way to test your car against the clock.  Its a fun relaxed way to hit the track and its happening this Wednesday at Lakeside Park.

Lord of the Lake 

The Lord of the Lake is Queensland's premiere Historic Motorcycle event. Held at the iconic Lakeside Park, north of Brisbane, it is the perfect setting to experience historic bikes.

With historic bikes and side-cars from periods 2to 6 (Period 6 bikes 500cc and below) there is plenty of track time to be had over the 2-day event!


See past champions and fantastic Historical bikes come out and compete for for the iconic Lord of the Lake trophy.

Lakeside Drags and Cruise  

Off Street Drags is a growing event located at Lakeside Park, Kurwongbah- North Brisbane. The concept is based on taking street racing off the streets into a fun, friendly and safe environment. Race head to head and against the clock, while making your way down the main straight in your street legal road registered car.

The drag strip is 1/8th mile (200 metres) in length and is run in a clockwise direction heading towards the kink.
