Group N Enduro at Ipswich Classic

Relive the racing era of the 60’s and 70’s with Group N Historic Touring Cars this weekend. Group N originated with the vehicles called the Appendix J. Appendix J were vehicles from the early to mid 60’s. Many were driven to the track, raced and driven home. In later years this group became known as Na and Nb. Na is represented by production touring cars available prior to 31st December 1957. Nb is represented by production type vehicles prior to 31st December 1964. Later on another class was added that called Nc. This is for vehicles that competed between 1st January 1965 and 31st December 1972. Our group accommodates a wide variety of cars that raced back in the late 1950s to the early 1970s.

This is round 6 of a 7 round series sponsored by Black Truck Sales and Isuzu Ute.

This weekend there will be 28 cars racing on the track with battles all through the field.

The last race of the day on Saturday will be the Harvey Black Endurance race. This is a handicapped reverse grid race that starts from pit lane. This means that anyone can be the outright winner.

This is the penultimate round and with the championship going down to the wire there is sure to be some close racing.

Don’t miss the opportunity to come and have a picture taken with these iconic cars.
