The second round of QRDC will hit Queensland Raceway on the 19th to the 21st, after an incredible first round that set expectations for the year pretty high. QRDC Category regulars Excel Cup, Superkarts, Classic Sports Sedans and Queensland Sports Racers all return for this round to fight for early championship honours. This weekend will also be the opening round for the QR Sports and Sedans series - there’s plenty of competitors eager to get out on track for the weekend.

 Our first Chrome Bar Day for 2017 is set for May 28th!

Chrome Bar Cruise days at Lakeside Park is open to all vehicles with a chrome bar or originally built with chrome. The day is family friendly, with all family members able to participate in the three hours of cruising throughout the day and kids entertainment. The second Notta Grand Prix is on July 1st! After the first round, where participants tested themselves for 6 hours at Lakeside Park, the second is set to be even bigger and better.

The real challenge of the day was keeping the cheap cars going around for the whole 6 hours. With teams pitching in to help others get out on track and one team replacing their entire car mid-morning to get through the day - it was an epic adventure for all entrants! Plenty of stories to share at the BBQ after the event is done.

The best way to unwind on a friday night!

Classic Bike Ride Days are a great way to get out on track in your historic machinery for a relaxed no-speed-limit ride around the Lakeside Park circuit!

This time Classic Bike is on a SATURDAY! So if you've missed out on the mid-week days due to work or other commitments, there's no excuses this time! On track from 9:30am.

$150 to get on track and a RACERS Clubman licence will be needed as well ($20 for the day, $65 for the year).

While this weekend we move on to the second round, in two weeks the third will take place at Lakeside Park!

There are eight BIG categories hitting Lakeside Park on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of June with Classic Sports Sedans, Excels, MX5 and 86 Challenge, Queensland Clubman and Sports Racers, HQ Racing, QR Sports and Sedans, Production Touring and the Italian Challenge. 

It's set to be another massive weekend of racing! Make sure to mark it down in your diary!
