It's been an awesome season of racing here at Queensland Raceway, and we’re thrilled to announce that all three Sprints Championships have now wrapped up: the Night Sprints, Weekend Sprints, and Midweek Sprints.
In the Night Sprints, Adam McLoed took the title after a series of super-close battles. He managed to secure the win over Dan Greer, with Angus Blythe following closely in 3rd. The highlight of the season was definitely the final round, where tough conditions made it even more challenging – racing under the night sky with rain adding to the mix for good measure.
For the Midweek Sprints, Rhys Johnston capped off an incredible season by claiming the championship win, with Dan Greer finishing in second. Heading into the final round, there was only a 1-point gap separating the two, but unfortunately, Dan had to miss the round, giving Rhys the edge.
In the Weekend Sprints, Dan Greer finished the season strong, clinching the title. As part of the prize for this series, the winner received an opportunity to travel to New Zealand for the Radical U-Drive experience at Highlands Motorsport Park. We're excited for Dan to enjoy this incredible experience, as he's shown tremendous pace throughout the year. The battle for the top spot in Weekend Sprints was intense, with Ben Trevenna not far behind after dealing with car issues. It’s been a year-long rivalry, and we can't wait to see what both drivers bring to next season!
The 2025 Sprints Series calendar is now available! As we work to enhance the Sprints Series at Queensland Raceway, we're excited to announce improved prizes for all drivers. This includes trophies for the overall class winners, as well as trophies for the series champions. Additional prizes will be revealed soon, so stay tuned!
